About the Class

The class consists of 4 lessons, each with a matching assignment:

• Lesson 1: Terminology and Process
• Lesson 2: Pleasing Plants
• Lesson 3: Medicinal Plants
• Lesson 4: Dangerous Plants

There is also a final exam. You'll have the opportunity to earn 60 points from each assignment and from the exam (for a total of 300 points).

To earn a quill, you need to earn at least 150 points across any of these options. The final due date for all assignments is January 15th for the Autumn Term and June 15th for the Spring Term.

If you have any accessibility requirements that make it difficult to complete part of an assignment, just let me know and we can find an alternative that suits you.

I would like to take a moment to remember my classmate Polaris Black who taught this subject for several terms before she sadly passed away in the summer of 2020. While I've taken a slightly different approach with my own class, I will always remember her when I'm wandering the greenhouses.
